Make Your Water Taste Better
In this article, I want to discuss how important it is to drink enough water each day and how we can make our drinking water taste even better. Here are some ways to enhance your drinking water, by introducing some foods that not only taste great but add nutritional and healing components to our daily water intake.
We all know that keeping properly hydrated is important to our health. The old advice we have all heard is to drink 8 glasses of water a day. But there really isn’t hard science behind that statement. According to Webmd.com a person should drink between a half ounce and an ounce of water for every pound they weigh. So that means if you weigh 120 pounds, that you should be drinking between 60 and 120 ounces of water.
So, since we need to drink plenty of water every day, sometimes plain water can get a little boring. So how about a little upgrade? When you visit a spa, there is usually a pitcher of water with apples, lemons, or oranges mixed in to add some natural fruit flavor to the water. This makes for a nice refreshing change from plain old water and it’s good for you too.
